October 2024-Present

For this season, I have been working under Robert Hunt along with other members to create data driven scouting reports. I have been responsible for curating advanced analytics from Synergy and CBB analytics. Combining these metrics with film review, I look for patterns in the offenses and defenses of opponent teams so that Rice is well prepared for the game. This experience has been very fun overall. Although the work is menial at times, I know all of the notes, stats, and charts are valuable in making sure we give the Rice the best opportunity to win possible and I am proud to be able to contribute to that goal. Leading into this next semester, I will be taking on a larger role and being able to put in more of my own analysis into the work.
